Good morning Family, its a lengthy read but I trust God that it will bless you.

“… for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. Matt 13:20-21 (KJV)”

Guys the height you rise & the results you produce is directly linked to the yield from the Word of God sown in your heart.

We find from scriptures that one of the reasons the Word does not produce result in a person’s life is offenses. That is a feeling of prejudice against another; where you begin to accuse or berate this person or group of people in your heart (or even verbally).

The people involved here are usually close friends, family, colleagues or spouse whom you have made serious sacrifices for. Frankly, most of the time you may be able to justify your annoyance.

However, if you will be profitable in the Kingdom, then you have to exercise yourself in dealing with offenses. Acts 24:16; And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men. & 1 Tim 4:7 (KJV).

One way to decisively deal with offenses and preserve the Word in your heart is to genuinely pray for the person that has wronged you and ask for the power of God to flow and meet specific needs in the person’s life.  Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

You start by reaffirming the Love of God in your heart. Romans 5:5 and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us .Then, you target a specific need in the person’s life -- a Promotion/Healing/Job, etc. and Labour in prayer concerning that need. You will notice that as you pray, the Love of God will begin to flood your heart. It may be difficult at first but that’s why it’s called an Exercise but you will find it becomes easier as you go.

The Love of God is the most excellent way! 1 Cor 12:31 God Bless you.
